The Bungee Blaster is an overhead spotting system that uses bungee cord to change the apparent weight of a performer (e.g., the person in the Bungee Blaster).  The apparent weight of the performer is controlled by stretching the bungee cord to different lengths and/or adding more bungee cords.  You can see the Bungee Blaster in action by going to www.YouTube.com and searching for Bungee Blaster.  Some Pics, the parts list, a typical setup, and notes on using the Bungee Blaster are shown below.

The cost of the Bungee Blaster is $495 plus sales tax (Ca only) and S&H.

Typical Setup of the Bungee Blaster:

Notes on using the Bungee Blaster:

1.       The harness (or spotting belt) must be set low on the waist.  The attachment points on the harness (i.e., the points where the bungee cords attach) must be close to the hip joint.  If it is too high the performer will not be able to rotate forwards or backwards.

2.                 The legs straps must be tightly secured to the harness; if not the harness will rise and be very uncomfortable.  Use the One-Wrap Velcro to chinch the leg straps as tight as possible.

3.                 The ˝” bungee cord generates about 25 lbs of force per 3 feet of stretch.  Thus two cords stretched 3 feet will suspend a 50 lb kid in mid air (no weight on feet).

4.
